Sarah began her journey into holistic health shortly after being honorably discharged from the Navy. She worked briefly as a Personal Trainer
at Bally Total Fitness but after being laid-off of a
job in the early stages of the 2008 Economic Crisis, Sarah began to
wonder what she would do next.
Then a moment of synchronicity landed
her on the grounds of the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.), where she found herself enrolling in the massage therapy program at the Cayce/Reilly School of Massotherapy in Virginia Beach, VA. This school is mostly known for its history with Edgar Cayce, known as the “Father of Holistic Medicine” and the "The Sleeping Prophet." It was here that she
also became educated on Cayce Remedies, other forms of holistic
healing, holistic modalities, and started her own journey down the spiritual path.
Her appetite for knowledge has yet to be satisfied since
graduating Cayce/Reilly and she has now received her BA in Contemporary & Alternative Health through Ashford University. After following "the call" to move to Hawaii, Sarah also became certified to practice Reiki,
an ancient form of energy healing. Since then, she has gone through all levels of Reiki certifications and has been attuned as a Reiki Master. She is now certified to practice Chikara-Reiki-Do, a combination of Tibetan Reiki and the traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho. While living in Hawaii, Sarah also
had the privilege of working with amazing tri-athletes and events, such
as The Lavaman, Ironman, and Ultraman triathalons
held in Kailua-Kona, Keauhou, and Waikoloa, HI. The Ultraman is a
special event, where Ironman finishers would run an Ironman, three days
in a row. This athletic spectacle would take place literally around the
entire Big Island. Sarah and her family moved back to Richmond, VA in
2013.
Sarah is currently a licensed massage therapist in the state of Hawaii, Virginia, and is also board certified through NCBTMB
(National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork).
Sarah's drive and passion to become educated in all forms of holistic
health care stems from the desire to share this knowledge with her
community. Her goal and mission is to empower people with enough
knowledge and confidence in their own intuition to heal themselves that
her services are no longer needed. By then she hopes to be retired.
